One Thousand and One Night for your Feet

Gucci Princetown loafers are the current craze of the fashion world, and I have to admit that I also wouldn't mind calling a pair of them my own. Yet, I resisted, since first of all, with my recklessness, the shoes would have dreadlocks after a few weeks, and second, some people might not be able to walk in heels, and I am not able to walk in loafters - they tend to randomly fall off my feet.

Anyhow, I recently stumbled upon the S/S 17 shoe collection of Santoni, and I am smitten. Their loafer - I don't know the name of the model yet - looks like the favorite slippers of a princess from the Arabian Nights.

The opulent yet chic interpretation of Moroccan aesthetics, features exactly the bohemian-chic look I always fall for. There's a good chance that I will break my no-loafer rule this spring, no matter how many times I have to walk back and collect my lost shoe - I'll just look at it as some free Cinderella moments...
